CEL Acoustic calibrators
The following two acoustic calibrator ranges are available to use with the range of CEL sound level meters, noise dosimeters and real time analyzers. The correct matching grade of calibrator is supplied automatically with standard instrument kits. Normally an ANSI Class 1 calibrator should be used with an ANSI Type 1 sound level meter and a Class 2 calibrator with a Type 2 sound level meter. It is possible to use a Class 1 calibrator with a Type 2 meter but it is not recommended to use the alternative combination.
CEL-110/2 Class 2 Acoustic calibrator
  • Complies with new IEC standard
  • Complies with ANSI S1.40 1984 Class 2 accuracy
  • Single output level of 114 dB (10 Pa)
  • Single output frequency at 1 kHz
  • Supplied with a half inch to quarter inch reducing coupler CEL-4726
  • powered from a single 9V radio battery
  • Low battery level indicator

CEL-110/1 Class 1 Acoustic calibrator
  • Complies with new IEC standard
  • Complies with ANSI S1.40 1984 Class 1 accuracy
  • Dual output levels of 114 and 94 dB (10 and 1 Pa)
  • Single output frequency at 1 kHz
  • Electrical output signal at 100 mV and 1 kHz frequency
  • Supplied with optional half inch to quarter inch reducing coupler CEL-472
  • Powered from a single 9V radio battery
  • Low battery level indicator
