CEL-573 Real time logging analyzer

The CEL-573 Real time logging analyzer is the preferred instrument for collecting noise data at regular intervals. To do this it uses the built in real time clock feature and allows the operator to set an interval timer which automatically controls the storage of results at the selected fixed intervals. This makes the instrument ideal for use over extended periods of time where it is important to understand the temporal variation of various noise parameter such as Leq, maximum, minimum, L90% levels for outdoor surveys. Measurements are made using the "Environmental" mode to collect the period records during the overall run. Both the individual records (up to 9999) and the whole overall or cumulative results are stored for completeness. The CEL-573 features all of the operational capabilities of the CEL-553 analyzer in addition to those listed here.

"Fastore" * Available for all bandwidths with data capture rates from 10 milli sec to 1 sec for spectral recording (5 milli sec to 1 sec for broadband recording) to acquire transient data as fast as possible. Useful for gunfire, piling, impact noise, helicopter noise studies, low flying aircraft etc. CEL-5X3UPT
"Building Acoustics" Available for all bandwidths with 10 milli sec data capture for capturing decay times during reverberation time studies in enclosed spaces such as cinemas, theaters, swimming pools, apartments, houses etc. Instrument firmware can use either the impulsive method or continuous method to measure reverberation times with all control of the noise generation system carried out by the analyzer. Also has capability to measure noise levels on the source and receive side of partitions to measure the effectiveness of walls or ceilings. CEL-5X3UPR
"Loudness" Available only with 'C' versions of the analyzers which have the third octave capability to measure the sound quality inside automobiles or trucks when driving on the roads. Can be used to obtain an objective measure of the noise produced by household appliances such as washing machines or food processors to create a more acceptable noise from such sources. CEL-5X3UPL
"Logging" ** Available only with analyzers fitted with the CEL-526 Dual range preamplifier to offer 100 dB measurement range capability for long term unattended noise monitoring at such sites as quarries, large factory complexes etc. A real time output is available during a measurement that can be viewed remotely using appropriate CEL Windows software using modems or direct cable links.
