CEL meters without impulse capacity
The following CEL meters do not have an integrating feature. This makes them unsuitable for measuring impulsive noises in terms of the Leq or the Lavg. They should be used for measurements of relatively steady noises. The CEL-231 is only suitable for measuring steady noises such as fans or pumps or compressors while the CEL-254 can hold the highest noise level to register the maximum value of a changing noise climate.
