Casella USA appoint new VP

The Casella Group of companies announces the appointment of Steve Bowers to the position of VP Sales and Marketing of the US based instrumentation division Casella USA.

Steve starts his new position immediately, and will be responsible for developing sales of the industrial hygiene and environmental instruments and further increasing the visibility of the Casella name in North America. Steve has been involved in the EH&S market for 15 years, having held Sales and Marketing positions at Knorr Associates, Bios, Gilian and Envirometrics.

“I am really excited to get back into the instrumentation field” says Bowers, “It’s where my strengths lie and where I’ve had the most experience. The first task is to increase the profile of Casella, a name benefiting over 200 years of history in environmental instrument manufacture. They have some fantastic products already in the marketplace and their commitment to development is dramatic, with several revolutionary new products destined to come to market later this year.”

The $70M UK-based Casella Group is one of the fastest growing environmental companies in Europe and plans similar growth for the North American market. Steve replaces James Carlyle who is taking a position at Corporate Headquarters in London and will be leaving the employ of Casella USA after the AIHCE show in San Diego.
