CEL-900 series pc software products launched

A completely new range of products is now available from Casella CEL in the USA. using the power of today’s desktop and laptop computers two new software packages have been introduced by Casella USA to go with the range of standard acoustic instruments.

Known as the CEL-900 series the first two modules have been launched to provide narrow band FFT analysis in the CEL-920 package and a sophisticated multi parameter data logging instrument in the CEL-940 package.

The CEL-914 input adaptor matches the computing power of the PC with an ac output from a standard source such as a sound level meter, vibration meter or tape recorder. The audio output is digitized by a high quality adaptor using the new USB interface to link to the programs.

The CEL-900 series products use the familiar Windows user interface to enable users to get up and running in the shortest possible time. Data can be stored on the local hard disk and the audio signal is optionally saved to confirm the source of significant events.

Demonstration programs are supplied on a CD ROM and can be installed by the user onto their own PC. When the user wants to unlock the evaluation software all that is required is a registration key to enable full measurements to be made.
