Casella USA announce the introduction of a new alligator clip for fixing the CEL-310 Noise dose badges to workers. Part number CEL-6811, the new alligator clip is a useful addition to the existing range of clothing clips and hard hat clips for the very popular CEL noise dose badge personal dosimeters. The CEL-310 badge is a totally new concept in personal noise monitoring where the microphone is mounted directly in the casing of the badge preventing the usual problems associated with trapped or damaged microphone cables on other personal noise dosimeters. The badge incorporates a built-in measurement microphone, rechargeable battery pack, data memory and infra red communication interface all in a small casing that measures only 1.6 in wide and 1.2 in tall. The CEL noise badge with the alligator clip is extremely lightweight at only 2.6 oz. Results captured by the CEL-310 Noise dose badge are transferred to the matching CEL-315 Reader unit that acts as the controller and storage unit for the dosimeters in the field. Up to 500 measurements can be stored in a reader before download to the matching pc software for analysis and archiving.
