dB23 software for CEL-450 & 490 Classic Real time analyzers

To compliment the recent introduction of the all new CEL-400 series of noise instruments there is an all new matching software package in the CEL SoundTrack series, called dB23. This software package runs on the popular MS Windows(™) operating system and enables the new meters to be connected to any standard pc compatible computer. Standard features include the ability to download single or multiple runs from the memory of the CEL-450 and CEL-490 and save them in a designated folder in your hard drive. Real time control of the remote instrument is also possible from the pc. Download speeds from 1200 up to 115200 baud are supported and the software can communicate with up to 8 separate instruments in a single system. This will be ideal for larger locations where the user needs to monitor at a number of positions around a large quarry or building site. Once the individual run or multiple runs have been downloaded the data can be viewed and manipulated as required before being output as a report directly from dB23 . It is also possible to export the raw data to a spreadsheet file format for entry into such programs as Excel(™) or Lotus 123(™) where other specific calculations can be performed. Graphic presentations are possible of time history data to view how the noise levels changed during the course of a run. It is possible to remotely control the operation of the meter and view the results on the pc screen in real time. All keypad functions are duplicated so the user can start and stop a run, change the settings and access the data in the meter's memory via a direct cable or modem link. Overall broadband results or octaves and third octaves frequency analyses in real time can be viewed with full cursor readout. The dB23 software has options for screen dialogs in English or Spanish language for user convenience. A matching acoustic calibrator, foam windscreen and attaché style carrying case comes with each of the standard kits providing all the items needed to make high quality noise measurements at a remarkable low cost.
