The Casella Insight Database management System (DMS) software is a complete solution for the busy industrial hygienist. It allows numerous Casella and CEL instruments to download their finished run results to a central database that holds and displays the data in an easy to view format. The user can build a structure that represents their organization, add people, places etc and then manipulate the data and create meaningful reports based on either single instruments or multiple sets of recordings. Separate instrument results are handled by specific "Plug-ins" that interface with the device to ensure that data transfer and setups are correctly handled when communicating between the computer and the instrument. Currently Plug-ins are available for the CEL-350 dBadge dosimeter, the CEL-62X series real time analyzer and the Apex and Tuff air sampling pumps. More specific Plug-ins are in development and will be introduced to expand the applicability of Casella Insight to handle all your reporting and data storage requirements. The Casella Insight software package replaces the dB35, dB36 and Pump Manager single instrument software programs that had been previously available.
